ABOUT Wagga Wagga Women's Choir

The Wagga Women’s Health Centre support UNISONg which is a diverse, inclusive and non-auditioned community women's choir in Wagga Wagga, NSW.

UNISONg provides a supportive and inclusive environment for members to meet fortnightly and improve their wellbeing through meaningful and directed musical connection.

Singing in a group strengthens a community’s social connection, health education and wellbeing outcomes, including mental health.

Tania de Jong, Australian soprano, said, “When we sing with others there is something really magical as we sing in harmony together. Not only do we breathe together, but studies have shown that our hearts start to beat together.”

A healthy community choir = a healthy community heartbeat
